Brand Guidelines

Employer
    brand

We’ve introduced a variation to the main guidelines for our employer brand.

These can be used for any internal or recruitment materials.

If you have any questions or need any of the brand assets in a different format, please speak to Nicola Boston in the People Team.

Typography

We use the same type rules as the main brand, but with the addition of titles using the following rules:

  • Set in Bold Italic
  • 5° angle

Slanted angles

We allow the use of panels with slanted angles of 5° within our Employer Brand materials. This angle works together with the italic titles.

Colours

While we use the same colour palette of the Holiday Extras brand, we allow more freedom to use the secondary colours more prominently.

Photography

We have a range of on location photography showing our real team at work. We avoid stock imagery. Our style is bright, engaging and focused in on our people.

They may only be used for internal or recruitment purposes.

Internal posters

If you are creating a poster for our own internal teams, don’t worry about being restricted to these guidelines.

Feel free to use elements if you want, but add other styles you feel are appropriate. As it’s not for customers or recruitment, we don’t need to worry about every internal poster being on-brand. Just have fun with it and create a poster that is suitable for your promotion.

Some tips when creating internal posters:

  • Think about the audience and the key information they need.
  • Try not to overload posters with too much information. Instead, direct them to more info and have a clear call to action (e.g. 'see Workplace for more info.').
  • An impactful visual or illustration is a good way of capturing attention. If running an event for a well known charity, you may want to use their branding in some way.
  • Be mindful of how and where you place the posters. Please don't place them on painted surfaces or using materials that can leave a mark.
  • As soon as no longer relevant (e.g. after the event) please take the posters down to avoid clutter. And don't forget to recycle!
